I first just want to apologize to my guy Manny X because he sent me his music like a while ago and I've been wild slow and late with posting it on here, but the wait is over. Manny X you've probs heard of him, but for those who haven't he is a singer/songwriter/producer/what can't the man do musically representing Puerto Rico and currently living here in the states. Manny X's track, 'I Just Want To Know' is a gorgeous song that displays his piano playing skills along with his soothing voice singing about that love that is no longer in your life and reminiscing on the moments shared and if her new love does the things Manny has done for her now. I enjoy how there really isn't any other instruments or any other effects or what have you in the background that takes away from the beautifulness of the song and his voice. His range is nicely shown in this love song and a great starter song for people to hear and then wanna check out more from the up and comer Manny X. He already has many songs, released a couple albums and has his music everywhere and has fans not just in the US but also internationally based. I deff suggest Manny X to anyone out there that wants to hear some good R&B music sung by someone of real talent.
Gabe Bondoc. He labels himself as a guitarist, singer, songwriter and nerd. What I can tell is that he has an amazing voice and his music is wonderful. The song 'Trenches' which is off of his "Spring 2011 EP" displays his guitar skills complimented by his gorgeous voice to create a beautiful sounding song. 'Trenches' is about remembering what side you're on. I love the lyrics in this song, and it kind of reminds me of 'Grenade' by Bruno Mars, except this one sounds realer (I guess that's what I'm trying to say) and more emotional compared to Bruno Mars' song. I can see a really promising future for Gabe especially if he continues to make beautiful music like 'Trenches.' What I'm hearing is that he wants people to support and buy his EP and not to spread his music around on YouTube and what not (not totally sure if it's true though), so I don't have a download available.
So I've been a BlameShift fan for a few years now, ever since I came into contact with them on a social networking site for bands and fans to interact and what have you. They're a really awesome band and I fell in LOVE with their songs, 'f.a.k.e.,' 'War Within' and 'Saints and Sinners' which are off of their earlier albums "The Test" and their self-titled "BlameShift" album. I haven't heard anything from them in a hot minute, until I checked their page and saw that they posted some new stuff, and had/have an EP out called "The Black Rose." They teased us fans with a little snippet of the songs on it, and I was like I NEED these like ASAP, and I was able to receive this amazing EP from the cool peeps over at BlameShift. The 5 track EP, continues to display the bands talents, and their soon rise to fame with the gorgeous vocals of lead singer Jenny Mann, and Tim Barbour on the guitar and last, but not least James Miller intoxicating your ears with his drumming abilities. These guys are honestly the friendliest people/band EVER. I've been in contact with them off and on and they are so open, and love the support their fans give them, and definitely show that they appreciate this. Once again support BlameShift and get their FREE, yes I said FREE new EP "The Black Rose" today by liking them on Facebook. I honestly can't wait until they blow up big time.
