Rykkinfellabeats 'Speedy'

I first heard of the artist and was like what? But following the advice of a "friend" we'll say, I checked it out and the song is amazing. It samples Brenton Wood's 'Gimme Little Sign' and I have just fallen in love with the instrumental. I wanted to listen to the original version and J Dilla's 'Signs' and the original was sung beautifully by Brenton Wood and I just love how Rykkinfellabeats and J Dilla have masterfully sampled the song. The original has this soulful vibe to it, while this version, 'Speedy' keeps the same instrumental, but is more, I'm not sure how to phrase this, but it's more mastered and sped up more than the original. The song is less lyrics and singing, and more instrumental which makes it even more catchy to listen to. I don't know much about Rykkinfellabeats but I think he's a German artist (my second German related artist on here), and this song is a great display of his talent.

Kanye West feat. Rick Ross, Jay-Z & Nicki Minaj 'Monster (Official Video)'

I've never really been a fan of this song, I mean it is good, but not a fan. The song itself is pretty dark content-wise and the video brought that darkness out as well. The whole illuminati and Kanye West thing is whatever you want to believe, I myself don't want to take part in it, but you can let me know what you think. I do like Kanye West's music, especially his older stuff. The video love it or hate it it's interesting and open for interpretation. The only part I didn't like (not to be biased) was Nicki Minaj's part only because the rest of the song was dark and her part was just more hyped up and didn't flow with the rest of the song. Let me know what ya'll thought.

BIG CuDi NEWS!

I just thought I'd inform you all that the day has finally come. I've just purchased KiD CuDi's "Man on the Moon: The END of DAY" and "Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager" today, both deluxe edition with all the extras and amazingness that you can't get with the regular edition. I'm gonna listen to both albums all the way through (there are some songs I haven't heard before on both albums) and then give my own reviews of the album, I'll try to make them as unbiased as I can, but what can I say, every CuDi song I hear is gold.

Asher Roth & Nottz Raw "The Rawth EP"

So the long anticipated mixtape/EP by Nottz Raw and Asher Roth has finally dropped. The mixtape entitled "The Rawth EP" (Raw and Roth combined incase you didn't catch that lol), has a couple of hot songs like the 'Intro' which is their song 'Dontcha Wanna Be (My Neighbor)' and 'Gotta Get Up.' However, there aren't really other good songs to back up those two songs, I mean sure there's only 8 songs on the EP, but the quality of the songs aren't equally spread. The beats for most have great instrumentals to them with that old school vibe which I love, but the rapping doesn't really do much with the track which I expected.

I do happen to like the songs 'Nothing You Can't Do' and 'Run It Back (remix)' featuring Kardinal Offishall. The production of the mixtape is great, not a whole bunch of DJs talking over tracks, skits and what have you, pretty much a straightforward mixtape, but the rapping was okay to me to say the least.
If I had to rate it I'd give it a strong 7 out of 10 stars.

Carlos St. John "In Association" Mixtape

A Christmas gift from me to you all. The long awaited Carlos St. John "In Association" Mixtape has finally arrived, and just in time for Christmas. For the past few months I've been giving you guys an incredible new track each Tuesday (dubbed Carlost St. John Day) and the mixtape which features each track along with three, yea THREE new songs by Carlos. The two songs are 'Welcome to Real Life' and '12 Flights Up,' along with the finished cuts of 'Hands' and 'Hustler 2.2' (the final "In Association" series track), and as I suspected the final track of 'Hustler 2.2' was a sample of another song. There are 14 songs on the mixtape, and if you want to read my personal opinions on the songs you can check out previous St. John posts here. All in all, if you doubted Mr. St. John before, you won't after you've heard this mixtape, and if that still doesn't win you over or you are a fan and want more music, download his first mixtape "The St. John Portfolio."

'Welcome To Real Life' is one of those real/reflection songs where Carlos gets serious on the track especially in the chorus. It's almost like the struggle that goes with the music industry, and what he's accomplished so far, "I laugh through the stained glass knowing that I own 100% of my Dame Dash/That's creative control lame a**"

'The Brook' I just figured it out, it's short for Brooklyn because as we all know this is Brooklyn's James Bond. The song is more of a track for his hometown of Brooklyn and all that comes in and out of Brooklyn. So if you're from Brooklyn make sure you bump this.

'12 Flights Up' the final track on the mixtape is the outro track and he's pretty much thanking us (The Stockholders) for coming along this ride with him. Him being 12 flights up is another kind of reflection track where he's wondering what direction/where to go next from here. "The money goes fast/the life goes fast/you speedin' through the lights and the lights don't flash" is just one line from the chorus.

The Hoodies 'All I Want For Christmas Is You (Cover)'

I heard this song about two years ago off of this band called The Hoodies' music pages, and I just loved the cover they did of Mariah Carey's hit song (one of her many hits) 'All I Want For Christmas Is You.' I think it's that the role is reversed in who's singing the song just makes me love it more, but they really did do an amazing cover of the song. Their voices, the instruments, the bells ringing, the harmony it's just a great song. If you loved Mariah's version of the song, then you will definitely love The Hoodies' version. I was trying to look them up and what not, but I guess apparently the band I knew as The Hoodies are now Joy Wave. I'm not sure what happened with the original band, but I wish them all the best and success with Joy Wave. If you were a fan of The Hoodies or never had a chance to listen to any of their tunes, then enjoy this cover of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' by the fireplace and may you have a wonderful Christmas.

Palermo Stone 'Beautiful Music'

The video for this song just captures me, the different scenes, tones, it all just blends so well together along with the song. The chorus is another one of those kind of inspirational songs where it just motivates you to do whatever it is you're trying to accomplish. Palermo Stone, also a type of stone commonly used to inscribe on by the Egyptians, but in this case I'm referring to the rapper/singer, looks to display the struggle and battles he (or up and coming rappers in general) face as they look to make it in this music industry. He raps about him coming up from nothing in order to make something of himself and his music. You can download the album that includes 'Beautiful Music' along with many other dope tracks by Palermo Stone down below. Listen and watch his journey with this 'Beautiful Music.'

Huey Mack feat. Jo Christo 'You're A Star'

I just got a hold of the song, and I can't stop listening to it. It is one of those inspirational songs that gives you motivation to keep on trying and not to give up on your dreams. In a way it reminds me of Young Buck's version of Lupe's song 'Hip Hop Can't Save Me,' just message wise, and the content of both songs. The beat to the song compliments the song in which it isn't too beat crazy, yet not too soft, and the chorus by Jo Christo provides that inspiration to keep on doing whatever it is your doing to reach your goal. I'm definitely loving the song, and I can't wait to hear more Huey Mack music, and what more he has to offer. If you're looking to download the song, it's track 8 on his "Bright Lights and Long Nights Mixtape."

Paramore Band Members Leave Group

I just found out that two members, brothers Josh and Zac, guitar and drum players for the band respectively, have decided to leave the famous Pop/Punk band Paramore. They knew that the brothers would leave after their show this past Sunday, and unfortunately this is devastating for Paramore fans, but the group still looks to tour, and move on as a band. The remaining members, lead singer Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitar player Taylor York wish the brothers the best of luck in whatever projects they are a part of. As a Paramore fan myself, I do wish the best of luck to the band and Josh and Zac in whatever paths they may take now.

Asher Roth & Nottz 'Gotta Get Up'

New music from Asher Roth and Nottz Raw called 'Gotta Get Up.' So apparently Asher and Nottz are teaming up to give ya'll some new music from them, and I first heard of their amazing duo on the track 'Dontcha Wanna Be My Neighbor' which I did mean to post on here, but time went by, then they dropped a video for it and it wasn't as new so I just didn't post it on here. However, I will do my best to keep you all updated on some new music, because these past few songs haven't been downloadable nor super new. However, this song does not disappoint and for those of you who don't think Asher is a "real" rapper that can make hits other than 'I Love College' then you haven't heard anything other than that song by him. Nottz on the other hand, I can't compare his stuff to any of his other songs because I, personally haven't heard anything else besides these two songs, but from these songs I can tell he definitely has talent. I wish the two the best with this music thing.

'Mamacita, Donde Esta Santa Claus?'

I know I should post this a little closer to Christmas just because of the song, but it came up during Spanish class today and I can't stop listening to it. Today was our official last day before we went on winter break (oh yea) and so for Spanish class we just looked up funny/sad/Christmas related songs and what not on YouTube and one of the songs my teacher mentioned was 'Mamacita, Donde Esta Santa Claus?' While we began looking it up, on of my friends in the class found this video of this little boy lip-synching the song and it is the CUTEST video in the world. Unfortunately after reading the description for the video, it has a very sad story for the young man in the video. As stated, he and his mother passed away after a car crash, and the YouTube account owner has posted videos of his son Jason to keep his memory alive, and this is one of the videos put up. I'm so sorry for the losses he's had to face. May we all cherish the life we have and our loved ones. I hope you all enjoy this wonderful video.

The Cool Kids 'Big Talk (Official Music Video)'

I never got a chance to post the song on here, I only did on the other blog I write for (The ChillinVillains), I wasn't sure at the time if I wanted to post it here or not. I was still trying to figure out how I felt about the song, but I do love it, especially that bass. I mean the bass is crazy, it's deff something you could bump while cruising in your ride (I think I actually said that in the other post I did for the song too lol). You can read my review of the song here, but for the video review. The video is soooo Chicago, Mikey and Chuck rep Chi Town to the fullest (as usual). They're at a Bulls game, decked out in Bulls gear, and everything is just Chicago. I love it, you gotta rep where your from. The wait is over, check out 'Big Talk' here.

*PS* Oh and the picture is/was edited by yours truly.

tabi Bonney 'Get Me/Make A Killin' (Official Video)'

I posted tabi Bonney's 'Make A Killin' song here a while back (read it here), and just saw that the video for the song is now out. It's a cut between two songs, 'Get Me' and 'Make A Killin.' He does just the first verse for the 'Make A Killin' video, but hey atleast I (and you all) have a video to go with the song now right? I wasn't quite sure what direction he'd go with the video, I didn't really have a thought about what the video would look like, but it has this old school flow to it. The car they used is one of those old like Chevy cats, and the women have those retro hairstyles in it. It's interesting, and the video for 'Get Me' is more of that new school video. I like the flip between the styles of the video. Enough talking, check it out for yourself.

Versetyle 'Black and Yellow (Freestyle)'

I've been looking for some new music, and since the mashup of 'Black and Yellow' and 'Teach Me How To Dougie' I posted a while back (listen to it here), and I found this freestyle, (written whatever you wanna call it) by this guy named Versetyle (like Versatile i think) and he absolutely kills it. He's out of the California area, an up and coming rapper and from this track, he does seem to have the talent to go far musically. I just peeped his 'Runaway' freestyle and that too is pretty dope, I'd like to hear something with a chorus on it, but right now he deff is displaying his talent. Good luck to Versetyle and all that he's doing.

Robyn "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart (Cover)"

I've been looking for something fresh to put up here for you guys for quite sometime now (sorry for the lack of music ya'll) and I stumbled upon this gem. Robyn is a Swedish pop star, who kind of reminds me of a more laid back almost version of P!nk (maybe it's just the hair, but she does to me). I'm reading her bio right now and I can also tell ya'll that she gained fame in 1997 with her song "Show Me Love" and now has fame not only in Sweden, but all over the world. This song I'm posting is a cover she did live at iheartradio in late July of this year, and she absolutely put her heart and soul in "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart." I do like the original Alicia Keys version, but this one actually made me cry the first time hearing it. This is my first time hearing about Robyn and I just adore everything she did on this cover, she made it her own, and the background music (drums/piano) just gives the song this more personal (i guess thats the word I'm looking for) kind of feel, and allows you to really hear and feel Robyn as she sings. Great cover and you will definitely enjoy it as well.

N.O.R.E. feat. KiD CuDi 'Floatin in the Sky'

I've only heard CuDi's verse from his "CudderIsBack" mixtape, but I actually searched the song on YouTube and found the full version. I had no idea it was by N.O.R.E., some people feel the full or just love CuDi's part, idk I like the full version, more song to listen to CuDi's voice (lol). So much CuDi, I just wanna rage.

KiD CuDi 'Mojo's So Dope (Official Video)'

I just wanna rageeeeeee. I love you Mr. Rager. A video for the long awaited 'Mojo So Dope' song, you can find this on his "Man on the Moon II: Legend of Mr. Rager" the deluxe edition if you haven't copped it yet (I will soon, I promise ya'll).

iSH 'Seize The Day' feat. Cory Lee

Ever since I found this song the other day, I can't stop listening to it. Cory Lee sings such an inspirational chorus on the song, "Live as if you'll die today, cause it may be your last. Your never promised anything, so seize the day." This is one of those hip hop songs that has strong lyrics and I don't want to reuse the phrase, but paints a picture of what they're rapping about. You can feel the struggle in his voice and the inspiration from the chorus, just an all around great song. This is off of his debut mixtape "My Name is iSH," not sure when and if it has dropped already, but I'll update when I know.

Lil' Kim 'Black Friday (Nicki Minaj Diss)'

I wanted to post this yesterday, but it was mad late, but anyways lets get to it. Lil Kim > nicki minaj, it's as simple as that, when you start to have real lyrics in your rhymes talk to me, when you sell more records then Kim talk to me, when you stop with that voice change nonsense and put some effort in your lyrics TALK TO ME, but before then, sit down nicki minaj (you gets not caps over here). You can't come dissing Ms. Kimberly Jones and saying you destroyed every female in the rap game, HUH? When Remy come out you'll get destroyed, Lil Kim already has the heat, can you handle this snippet? Or do you need the full version before you stop talking and know your place?

Here's the snippet of the diss record, expect the full version out some time today.

*Edit* The full version is out, what do you have to say now nicki? Diddy? Young Money?

KiD CuDi 'Who I Am' feat. Dr. TIMe

I meant to post this a while ago when I first found it, but was too lazy/forgot to do it. The song isn't new it's been out atleast since February of this year, and it's by KiD CuDi and it features a German rapper by the name of Dr. TIMe called 'Who I Am.' It has that eerie, dark vibe that CuDi usually brings, and even though you (unless know German) can't understand what Dr. TIMe is saying it, but thankfully he has lyrics posted and it just adds to the whole feeling of the song. This song is creepy, but a good creepy which defines CuDi and his originality of telling a story and allowing the listener to get inside his mind through his music. If you like what you here, then I suggest downloaded Dr. TIMe's mixtape and checking out his myspace for more info.

Laze & Royal 'Skylines' feat. Nikki

I was just cruising looking for some new stuff to put up and I stumbled upon this gem. Don't know much about Laze & Royal (not surprising), but from the looks of it, they look like twins...kinda a little, not sure. Ha just looked it up and they are brothers and they're both 19 (still not sure if they're twins but whatevs) and they're a hip hop duo out of Los Angeles, they come from a musical background, and just from this song it looks like they have a promising career. The chorus of the song is so catchy and I'm in love with Nikki's voice on it, and the guys paint a picture with their lyrics on the song. Be on the look out for more of their music.

Carlos St. John 'Who Else But Me'

Another Tuesday has come and gone (but for those in a different time zone it may still be Tuesday) and yes I do have another highly anticipated Carlos St. John track for you all. This week he goes in on Ryan Leslie's 'All My Love' track and creates something uniquely his own. It's almost as though he's wishing us (the proud stock holders), who've followed him on this journey doing his "In Association" series. I like the almost sentimental reflection like 'Building My Empire' in this final track to end us off with. It's sad that this is our final track but you know what they say, "all good things must come to an end." If you've been skeptical of Carlos St. John before, listen to this or any other track he has out, be sure to download "The St. John Portfolio" mixtape, and be sure to look out for the "In Association" mixtape to drop December 14th. In between then, I wish you well.

Bed Stuy Dee 'Brooklyn Girl'

Some more local artists on the come up, if you rep Brooklyn (BK Stand Up), are from it, or even been/passed thru Brooklyn then you need/must know Bed Stuy Dee. He may just be a teen trying to make it in the music industry, but he deff shows a lot of promise with this track. Not to mention, I like it cause his voice is nice (idk what it is but that voice is niceeee). 'Brooklyn Girl' is that ode to those girls from Brooklyn that are just all around better than girls from other cities in NY (but they don't compare to CT girls lol). So if you are that 'Brooklyn Girl' Bed Stuy Dee is looking for then you deff gotta bump this track wherever you're at.

Look 'Keep on Pushin' feat. Millyz

Don't know much about the two, but what I do know is that they created a crazy nice track. I found it while in the search of some new stuff to put up, and while this track has been out a little while, it's still new to me and those who've never heard of either artist. I know (well read) that Millyz is a rapper out of the New England area (what what??? NE doing big things out here lol), Massachusetts to be exact, and I'm not sure where look is from (I can't really seem to find stuff on him right now), and Millyz has a couple mixtapes out and has been receiving good feedback from them I see. The song, 'Keep On Pushin' isn't something I'd usually put on here, but I couldn't resist, once you listen to it you'll be hooked. So I hope you enjoy and tell your friends to download and bump it as often as you can.

Carlos St. John 'Hustler 2.2 (Snippet)'

I know I know ya'll are like, what happened on Tuesday? I didn't get the new track, and when I did I've been too lazy to post it (sorry ya'll), but now that I'm on vacation I've got time to post, post, and post for you all. This week for Carlos St. John Day, it's switched up a bit, and we have a snippet of a track that features the one and only Azeem showing off his production skills (because we already know how amazing his voice is). No need to show off on someone else's beat so Carlos keeps it all original in this track, and I'm not sure if it's two tracks on here because the beat switches up towards the end, but either way both or this one track is crazy hot, and the full length version needs to be released ASAP. Once again, support Carlos St. John and his movement.

VersaEmerge 'Find Your Love (Cover)'

I've been in LOVEEE with this band for quite some time now, but I hadn't checked them out in forever so I decided to see what was up with the band and I stumbled onto this jewell. I'm not a fan of the original verion/Drake, but this cover is unbelievably good, Sierra's voice is UH-MAZ-ING and Blake sounds soooo good on here. If you don't know/haven't heard of VersaEmerge, I suggest you do some research and get to know them.

'Daddy's Lambo' by Yelawolf

Yelawolf is that white boy you NEED to get on. I posted his freestyle over that B.M.F. track earlier (read it here), and he's beginning to get that shine he deserves. He was on a cipher from the BET Hip Hop Awards (where he did the darn thing), and his album is due later this month (I believe). The track is 'Daddy's Lambo' and it's produced by Drama Beats (Rob Dyrdek's cousin, and he also produced this fire Keke Palmer track), and with Yelawolf rapping over it you know it's fire.Honestly you'll get hooked to the beat and rhymes in no time and blast it in your car while you're cruising. Get with Yelawolf or get lost. Trunk Muzik 0-60 haters.

Brand Nubian 'Brand Nubian'

I NEEDED to do a throwback, sorry I haven't posted lately, been busy with school stuff. I have a track from an up and coming artist, and the always anticipated new track for Carlos St. John Day tomorrow/today since it's after midnight right now lol. But let's get back to this track, I first heard it off of the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas soundtrack, and it's a track with great meaning that you all need to hear. No video, just an amazing song.

Chiddy Bang 'Pass Out (Music Video)'

I have been obsessed with this song as of late due to my sometimes awesome shuffle mode on iTunes and it's just so catchy. I have Chiddy's mixtapes (where you can find this song) and after I listened to it the first time I immediately needed/wanted to hear it a second time. The song is called 'Pass Out' which samples Tinie Tempah's 'Pass Out' beat and some if not all of the chorus, I've only listened to this version of the song and after listening to the original I still prefer this one. Not sure, it's just much more catchier I think. Oh and this deff needs more views than over 21,000.

'Building My Empire' by Carlos St. John feat. Azeem

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes you already know the deal. Today's Tuesday aka Carlos St. John Day and we do have another banger from the one and only Carlos St. John. This week he samples Drake's 'Light Up' beat and along with the help of Mr. Azeem they've created their own masterpiece. It's not as hard as some of his past stuff, it has that same kind of vibe as 'Ticker Tape Parade' (which is one of my personal favorites) and as usual Carlos does his thing on the track. What more can you ask for from him? People how many times do I have to tell you, get to know Carlos and tell your friends about him and get to supporting his Portfolio movement. As I listen to the song more and more it just keeps on growing on me. Here's something extra this week too, there's also a stellar video of Mr. St. John in the making of 'Building My Empire' so check it out after the music player. Without further ado, here's your weekly fix of Carlos St. John.

Rock City 'Morning Noon & Night'

Some new Rock City for ya'll. I put up a song by them a while ago (listen to it here), and they recently dropped a mixtape if anyone's interested. However, this hip hop/r&b with a hint of reggae duo has another single for ya'll produced by the one and only David Guetta. If you aren't familiar with David Guetta, get out from under that rock and check out the stuff he's produced, and if you haven't heard of Rock City get your act together and get them on your iPods/CD Players/Cassette Tapes, whatever you have. This is deff a club song to get everyone jumping, I hope they do well with this single and whatever else they put out.

KiD CuDi Performs 'Maniac' on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

I just peeped this, CuDi was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon the other night and performed 'Maniac' with Cage, The Roots and St. Vincent. Sweet performance and remember "Man on the Moon II: Legend of Mr. Rager" comes out November 9th. DON'T DOWNLOAD THE LEAKS, GO OUT AND SUPPORT A GENIUS AND BUY HIS ALBUM WHEN IT DROPS.

Kanye West 'Life of a Don' feat. Lil Wayne

I know this song has been out for like a month or so now, but I just started getting into it and I just loveee it. It's called 'Life of a Don' off of that G.O.O.D. A** Mixtape that came out a while ago, and it features Lil Wayne and both of them just make the song. I'm not a huge Lil Wayne fan (i think he's alright, his old stuff is WAYYY better than the stuff people be feening for nowadays) but he did his thing on the track (his lyrics are okay in relation to the song). The song just has this vibe that I can't really describe, but it's ridiculously good.

'Black and Yellow My Dougie'

My friend had posted this, and I listened to it and it's a really good mix. I'm not really a fan of Wiz Khalifa's 'Black and Yellow' (but Carlos St. John ripped it) and I've been on 'Teach Me How To Dougie' since last winter or so, but this mix is intense. Mad niceee and props to Henry for putting this together. Let me know what you think, idk if he has a download for it, but when/if there is one I'll post it.

'Lights in the Air' by Carlos St. John feat. Brook Yung

Yes today is tuesday (well more of the end of tuesday), but also known as Carlos St. John day if anyone was wondering. I know this drop is wicked late, but I was busy and then procrastinated doing homework and was just wasting time (as usual lol). But for those wondering this weeks Carlos St. John drop samples Diddy's Dirty Money's song 'Angel' and Carlos has solicited the help of fellow New York rapper Brook Yung (get to know him people, I know I will). The track kind of reminds me of Carlos' 'Blow Them Away' idk the feel just reminds me of it, but none the less the track is crazy. The song is crazy hot and as usual Carlos brings it once again, so people people people how many times do I have to tell you, STOP SLEEPING ON CARLOS ST. JOHN. Get with his music, team, become a Portfolio Stock Holder (like myself).

'It's My Party (Cover)' by Amy Winehouse

OMG just saw this today, and I've been waiting longgg for Amy Winehouse to make that long needed comeback. She has such a soulful/jazzy kind of voice that's just amazing and you can listen to it all day. When she first came out on the music scene I was like "wow who is she and I need to hear more from her," it's just too bad the whole drug scandal stuff had to interfere with her career, but hearing this sounds like she's ready to bring the world her gift of music once again. If you never listened to Amy Winehouse I suggest you do that right now, her voice is incredible and something you don't hear too often. The song isn't original, but she makes it her own, it's a cover of Lesley Gore's 'It's My Party' which came out in the 1960s, and with this remake Amy just and I don't want to repeat, but she really does make it her own song.

'Corazón Sin Cara' por Prince Royce

I found this song yesterday and I'm IN LOVEEEE. If you know spanish/speak it you'd understand the meaning behind the song (i mean the translation), it's such a beautiful song. I don't know much about Prince Royce other than he's amazingly handsome and has a beautiful voice. I play this song like all the time now, it's just so amazing. I know it's an old song/been out for a while now, but it's still amazing and I'm sure not everyone has heard it before, but listen up and fall in love.

Ricky Blaze 'Just You & I (Official Video)'

I know this video came out a few days ago, but I've been too lazy to actually watch it, but I did earlier today and idk it wasn't how I was expecting it to be, but hey thats just me. I never realized this but Ricky Blaze is EXTREMELY skinny lol, but thats besides the point, and another thing about the video, the concept of the video and song are totally off (not trying to bash) it's still an amazing song. Let me know what you think.

Michael Jackson 'You Are Not Alone'

This song came on the radio today and to add to the emotions I was already feeling from the previous songs I cried it out, and I just thought I'd share it with you all too. We miss you Michael, rest in peace.

'Ray-Ban Vision' by A-Trak feat. CyHi Da Prynce

Found this song while messing around on YouTube yesterday, and the song is called 'Ray-Ban Vision' by A-Trak, I don't know much about the guy, but I think I've heard the name before. Anyways the song is hot, it kind of reminds me of the song 'Sunglasses At Night' by Corey Hart, only because he talks about shades and how he wears them (idk that's just me lol). If you don't know A-Trak or CyHi Da Prynce (who is also featured on this sweet track) then start now ( I know I will).

'Good Morning, Forever' by Carlos St. John feat. Azeem

Check your calendars, today is Tuesday aka Carlos St. John Day, and once again he did not disappoint. Teaming up this week with Azeem Salem (Listen to 'Breath Again,' and 'Blow Them Away') to sing on the hook (which is spectacular and very catchy might I add), Carlos drops 'Good Morning, Forever' for us. The track samples LLoyd Banks' 'Start It Up' beat and Carlos did the darn thing once again. Like I have been waiting for a new drop since he tore up, 'The World Belongs to Me.' I mean seriously if you haven't heard/listened to Carlos St. John please stop waiting around and listen now, "That mean I'm so dope, So I don't piss clean" (WHAT?! DID HE REALLY?!?!?!??!) I mean he killed it this week. You already know the deal for next tuesday so hop aboard now and get with Carlos St. John NOW.

'Can't Forget It' by Bagginz

Saw the link for this song a few days ago, but I was extremely busy and some other stuff to deal with which prevented me from posting for a while, but I'm back and with something new for ya'll to listen to. The song is called 'Can't Forget It' and it samples Demi Lovato's 'Don't Forget' song, the outcome was amazing I must say. The beat sounds good, and apparently Bagginz (the artist) wrote the song about a girl that did him wrong (from his YouTube) and he is getting back at her with this song. It doesn't go in and bash her, but just does it in a creative and artistic way, I'm down for more Bagginz songs/news.

'The World Belongs to Me' by Carlos St. John

Today's tuesday and you guessed it, it's Carlos St. John Day. A new release every tuesday, can you say best day of the week? Well let's get to it, this weeks masterpiece is entitled, 'The World Belongs To Me' and Carlos goes off on Soulja Boy's 'Speakers Going Hammer' beat. Let me just say the beat is ill, and once again Carlos made the song his own. I don't know how he does it, but he always brings that fire to every track put in front of him. STOP SLEEPING ON HIM. Carlos St. John is the future, if you haven't heard of him before PLEASE stop slacking and check him out.

KiD CuDi feat. Kanye West 'Erase Me (Official Video)'

I've been waiting for this video for a while now only to find out it's been out for like a week now (lol), but no worries I just saw it today and I.Love.It. CuDi looks like Jimi Hendrix to me in the video and it's like 70s theme almost and Christopher Mintz-Plasse aka McLovin from Superbad is also in the video which makes it even better. Just an all around crazy cool video from CuDi.

Willow Smith 'Whip My Hair (Official Video)'

So Willow Smith, Will and Jada's youngest daughter (I think), has finally released an official video for her song, 'Whip My Hair.' The song is straight fire, and the video is...interesting we'll say that. I wasn't sure what direction they would go with the song for the video, but idk I think it would have to grow on me. The dance moves are fire, but let's get to the most important part, her hair. The braids, yea I've seen it before nothing really special, the opening part with the heart was too much for me, but that mohawk, LOVE IT. I really really really liked the mohawk she had in the video, the other hairstyles didn't really do it for me, but the mohawk was FABULOUS. The video also had a guest appearance by her brother Jaden and his long hair. It seems everybody in that family got long hair so good for your Will and Jada. Without further ado, here's the Official 'Whip My Hair' video.

M.A.C. 'Tic Tac Toe' (Official Video)

So the guys of M.A.C., the most anticipated crew, or Mike, Aziz and Chris have finally (i mean FINALLY) dropped the video for their song 'Tic Tac Toe.' I've been waiting for this to drop ever since I found their music. The video matches the song with it being like a party kind of song, which they did at the University of New Hampshire (what whatttt lol). Chris looks sooo adorable in the video and when he says, "the lax bro, you know I got that flow" scene is just too much lol. Yes Mike and Aziz ya'll did the darn thing (lol) in the video, the song is great and the video is amazing. I love the clarity of the video and the clear concept, I can't wait for that "WeAreMAC EP" to drop.

'Made Up Stories' by Go:Audio

I heard this song like a few years ago, and for some reason I was like I want to listen to this song today. Good for me (and ya'll) because it's such a catchy like break up song (not to make breaking up something good..?), but it's idk how to explain it, but the song is amazing. A little different from my recent posts on here, but diversity is good right? (LOL). Unfortunately Go:Audio broke up :( I'm not sure when this unfortunate break up occurred, but let's remember this awesome group by watching their video for 'Made Up Stories.'

Mik Thomas 'When You See Me'

Mik Thomas, a rapper out of the Texas area, but has lived in many states so maybe you can say he's from your hood. I stumbled upon him and his music like a month or so ago, contacted him on featuring on here and dropping the exclusive tracks before they get out worldwide and he agreed, but it's been up to me to stop being so lazy and actually get it together. To Mik, I'm sorry, but I got you the whole college thing is crazy right now. Let's get back to the music tho, I don't know much about him, but I hope to get more info soon, but just listening to his music you know he has a real passion for it. The song I'm posting 'When You See Me' is just a great example on how, idk I don't wanto to use the word "real" but it is authentic. It's that true hip hop that you don't really get unless you're listening to underground artists who put that time and effort into a track and aren't just doing it to make it big and exploit materialistic items and what not. Mik stays true to the game and is dropping a mixtape soon (hopefully I'll get the name and maybe the album cover in my next post), more exclusive tracks. Just a whole bunch of Mik Thomas so remember the name.

Oh and the picture is from him (Mik Thomas), but I just did a little editing to it so let me know if you like it. I still have work to do on editing, but I think it came out pretty well.

'Make A Killin' by tabi Bonney feat. Pusha T

I know I'm a little (maybe a lot) late on this, but I had the song a few days ago, but I've been busy visiting college and what not right now so I haven't really had time to blog and put music up, but in the next few minutes (and I promise) I'll have a few new posts for ya'll to listen to/read. A few updates, I got tagged for possible copyright infringement on that last Kelly Rowland song I posted. My fault, I apologize for that and I had no intentions of doing that. I totally support Kelly and her music venture so I'll repost it with probs a link to the song on YouTube or something. Alright now back to this song, it's called 'Make A Killin' by tabi Bonney featuring Pusha T. I don't know much about tabi Bonney, but let me just say this is a GREAT first impression for me with this song. The beat reminds me of a Caribbean kind of sound like a Reggae kind of feel to it and Pusha T and tabi both straight kill it. It's just something you can vibe to and I can deff see this hitting the radio real soon.

J.Vill 'Something Crazy' (Wynter Gordon Remix)

So my mans J.Vill (A ChillinVillains Premiere Artist) sent me the track like a week ago, but I was mad lazy to put it up (sorry lol). But the track is called 'Something Crazy' and it is something crazy lol. But really I think (not really sure) it's an original track by Wynter Gordon (another group/artist I believe) and JVill did his thing on the track (I might be totally wrong so don't quote me on it lol). It's like/it IS a party song to get hype to if you play it up all the way. Like I can see thing being played in the club on a friday or saturday night (or whenever you people go out to party lol) and everyone just going crazy. Enough blabbing check out 'Something Crazy.'

Kelly Rowland 'Forever Is Just A Minute Away'

New music by Kelly Rowland called 'Forever Is Just A Minute Away' produced by Jim Jonsin (see I'm on top of my game today lol). I like Kelly Rowland she deff deserves more shine and attention than she's getting right now. I think people sleep on her because of all the spotlight and attention Beyoncé gets in the music industry, but open your ears, Kelly's got a good voice too. I probably said the same thing on my last Kelly Rowland post, but listen to 'When Love Takes Over' by Kelly and David Guetta, that song is PHENOMENAL. Give Kelly a chance and listen to 'Forever Is Just A Minute Away.'

Tigerstyle by Redman

Yea 1 something of the Wu-Tang clan, half of Method Man and Redman. Redman is coming back to the music game and coming back strong. I already posted that '4 Minutes to Lockdown' joint earlier and here we go again with another banger. The song's called 'Tigerstyle' and it brings back those old school vibes, the lines are fire and it's just an all around banger. So get your music game up and make SURE you have this song on your iTunes, CD player, A-Trak whatever you jam with.

Maniac by KiD CuDi feat. Cage

I know I'm slipping right now, but I've been super busy ya'll. To brighten ya'lls day I have some new KiD CuDi (some might have it already but if you don't it's new then lol) called 'Maniac' featuring Cage. The song has that dark kind of feel with like an eerie kind of beat and the chorus is crazy, but hey thats CuDi. It's just something you can bump your head to if your by yourself reflecting or with friends. Not really something to play at the club but that doesn't mean it's not a good song. I'm getting goosebumps just from listening to it right now lol.

P.S. yes that CuDi design is originally edited by me so if you see this edit somewhere else know what I did it, the picture was taken by someone else but design by me. If you like it thankss I appreciate it.
