Passion Pit/Lupe Fiasco/Kanye West/Wale/Eminem 'Sleepyhead (Mashup)'

I know this is old, but I just found it today because I've just fallen in love with Passion Pit like two days ago. They're like a Pop/Electronica/AWESOMENESS band/group hailing out of Mass and I think I heard of them, but never went out of my way to check them out, but I had to recently and that was one of the best decisions I've made in a few days lol. The first song I checked out by them was 'Sleepyhead' and it's a dope song, and the mixes for it are incredible. This one mix (the one I'm posting now) is a mashup of 'Sleepyhead' along with the lyrical stylings of Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Wale and Eminem. The blend of 'Sleepyhead' along with the Wale, Em, Lupe, and Kanye fit so perfectly especially Lupe's verse. *Note: These are all verses from their other songs not specifically for this one*

Lupe Fiasco '10 Crack Commandments (Freestyle)'

Lupe has not been getting that shine that he so deserves with all this record label drama, and the lack of creativity and intellect in the music industry, but Lupe always stays true to himself and what he stands for. His album "Lasers" is set to drop later this year, not totally sure on the exact date, but I will definitely let you all know so you can go out and support Lupe and buy that album. This is a freestyle he did just a few days ago on Connecticut's own HOT 93.7 radio show just going off the top of the head and having fun with it. You can hear the hosts laughing in the background as he goes. Just something fun while we wait until "Lasers" drops March 8th SO MARK YOUR CALENDARS.

The Runaway by Lupe Fiasco

So I had posted this a few days ago on The Chillin Villains site, and I thought I'd post it here as well. It's some new Lupe Fiasco called 'The Runaway (Lupe Fiasco vs. Unkle Reconstruction)' and let me just say Lupe killed it. The beat is kind of a electro-hip hop kind of feel, like a lot of trance kind of stuff to it, and Lupe just drops some crazy verses, "At each others throats like butterfly collars or Siamese twins joined at the Medulla Oblongata going to the opera" just a little sample of what he does in the song.

Oh and I used this same picture on The Chillin Villains, idk it's just such a beautiful picture and that jacket is out of this world. I love it.

Lupe Fiasco, Papoose, and Styles P Cipher

Old, but still hot. All three of them killed it, this is real hip hop right here.

The Time Has Come...

So the time has come to discuss the results of my Most Underrated Rapper poll. First off let's just clarify what I meant by "most underrated." What I meant was an artist who you think should be played more often on the radio, receive more exposure ie promos for music videos, receiving more awards, etc. The choices I put up were Wale, KiD CuDi, Wiz Khalifa, and Lupe Fiasco, those are artists who I think have strong fan bases and should receive more mainstream shine than they are given.

The winner of the poll was Lupe Fiasco with 93 of the 231 votes. Lupe is a very lyrical artist who spits the truth and received much shine with Kick Push, but hasn't really earned the same spotlight since (totally just my opnion). He did remix Rick Ross' 'BMF' song with his own twist to it which puts the song in a different light. He dropped a new mixtape last year (i believe) and has another one dropping very soon. Hopefully he can regain that mainstream status without having to change his style up.

The second place artist is my man KiD CuDi. CuDi dropped on the mainstream scene with his song 'Day N Nite' and stayed in the spotlight for quite some time for the track. He gained many fans with the song (like myself) and those who continued to bump CuDi while he was away from the radio with his 3 official mixtapes to give his fans before his long awaited album, Man on the Moon dropped last year. Sure he's had more well known songs like Pursuit of Happiness since, but nothing really to stick. I, myself think CuDi deserves MUCH MORE attention than he's getting right now, but I just hope that he doesn't switch up his music cause he's perfect the way he is.

To Wale and Wiz, both have a lot of fans and I wish the best for ya'll and hopefully receive the shine your fans want ya'll to have.
